AUTHORITY Climate Tanzania (TMA) has the attention of precipitation exceeds 50 mm this week.
It said that the rains fail in Dar es Salaam, Tanga, Pwani, Morogoro with the islands of Unguja and Pemba will be enormous and could cause harm.
Statement by the TMA Director General, Dr Agness Kijazi said the zilitarajia pouring rain from April 13 this year until Saturday, April 16, this year.
Dr Kijazi said the level of uncertainty of the rainfall is 70 percent and the situation was due to the improvement in the wet zone corresponding to the presence of Fantala cyclone in the Indian Ocean.
So she asked the citizens who sit above mentioned areas to take precautions and take appropriate action in order to avoid possible harmful effects due to the heavy rainfall.
Recently, TMA said the long rains in coastal strip that began the first week of this month there will be brief periods of heavy rain that may cause flooding.
In addition, at the same time very hot temperatures at night will remain with decreasing during the day.
