"The government has allocated heaps of money for improving railways, roads, airports as well as to buy four planes, and starting allocated Sh250 billion to buy two starting in the current fiscal year," he said. 

He said however in improving the performance of the Port Authority have advised the government to reduce some of the costs that are kept are charged by the authorities, the purpose being to facilitate attracted traders and afford competitive with the ports of other countries
