Minister of Works, Transport and Mawasiiano Professor Makame Mbarawa said the government will increase the exercise time in the shutdown of the fake phone by June 16 this year.

"We expect to turn off the phone all the fakes from their health effects especially for users, the lack of standards and quality of these phones so people lose a lot of money for the purchase of these calls for regular die", said Minister Mbarawa.
In addition, Professor Mbarawa added that the current panel of experts from the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has been referred Singida region for providing the recognition of those calls in order to help citizens identify with ease.
He stressed citizens to take precautions before buying a phone, including asking the seller before buying, claim receipt and kuituinza to control the importation and distribution of such products in the country.
In other measures, the Minister Mbarawa said that the issue of of the National Broadband goes well, where the government in collaboration with providers of communications continue with the establishment of communication towers in different parts of the country particularly in rural areas in order to bring you the best of contacts in the country.
"For now the fourth phase of the project of the National Congolese ongoing, as various phone companies yanasimika their towers in different parts of the country to distribute and improve communication to the public" , he explained Professor Mbarawa.
