The US government imeihakikishia Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to develop the relationship between the two countries as well as provide support and assistance for development projects in the sectors of health and education.
Speaking yesterday in Dar es Salaam and the press shortly after holding talks with the US ambassador in the country, who accompanied the mission of 15 people engaged in various projects funded by the US government in the country, Minister of Foreign Affairs, South East Regional and International Cooperation, Dr Augustine Mahiga said that in spite of possible misunderstanding that Government and Tanzania recently but the country has said that it will stop developing key projects as well as projects of Education and Health initiated locally by Governments of the United States in line and develop partnership in the field other progressive.
In addition Minister Dr Mahiga brought Tanzanians fear and say that all projects in the country was established with funding from the US Government will be progressively as previously planned by other more promising projects that will bring national productivity and create jobs in line with the majority of Tanzanians.
By his side: In Tanzania Ambassador Mark Childress said that there is necessity to develop relations between Tanzania and the United States especially in the provision of various developmental aid that the country's government will continue to promote these relations despite various political challenges in their distributions.
The United States pledged to increase further in itakayolenga projects economic growth of Tanzania and offered the country into poverty situation prevailing now.
In the talks, they also discussed how to strengthen diplomatic issues and how to kuzidisa regional security for the benefit of all.
